As you can probably tell from the name of our church, family is a central aspect of most everything we do. Most people have a pretty good idea of what a healthy family looks like, but unfortunately there are those who do not. Many people have grown up in families that were abusive or otherwise dysfunctional, so when they think of family the thoughts are less than positive. So, when we talk about family, what do we mean?
You do not have to pretend to be someone else to be accepted. You may be fairly normal, crazy, or somewhere in between and you will still be loved.
Everybody brings what they can and makes sure that things are taken care of.
Sometimes life is tough, and family means never having to go through those tough times alone.
